Tendering Procedure:
- Tenders must be written on a ESKLEIGH TENDER FORM form and delivered to the Tender Office located at the Ground Floor Foyer or by email to dluttrell@eskleigh.com.au ... CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD A TENER FORM
- The closing time for tenders is 6.00 pm on the 20th April 2013.
- Tenders must at least meet the reserve price shown on the label for each work of art, which includes GST. Any amount above that price is a tax-deductible donation to Eskleigh – a separate receipt showing this donation will be provided to successful tenderer.
- Yellow dots will be attached to the labels of works as tenders are lodged. Each yellow dot represents one bid.
- You may wish to increase your tender amount according to the competition revealed by the dots. The highest tender will be accepted.
- After tendering is closed, a red dot will indicate that an artwork is sold.
- Successful tenders will be announced on the 20th April 2013. Tender amounts will not be announced.
- In the event of a draw, the tender result will be decided by a ballot prior to the announcements.
- All works, including those bought by tender, are to remain on exhibition until 3.00pm Sunday 21 April 2013.
- Between 4.00pm - 4.30pm pm Sunday 21 April 2013 or
- Between 9.00am – 4.00pm from Monday 22 to Friday 26 April 2012 or
- A later date arranged with the Tender Officer.
Further Purchases:
After announcement of the tender results, other unsold works may be purchased at the marked price until 3.00pm Sunday 21 April 2013.
All valid tenders must comply with these procedures.
Any dispute will be referred to the Chair of the Tasmanian Art Award Committee for adjudication.
